Surf-kayak in Sitia

Certain moments the calm sea and the courses in calm waters end up boring...

If some day however you wake up in the morning and see that the North wind blows up to 6 beauforts in the bay of Sitia, then you understand that the day is forecasted extreme with high doses of adrenaline.

Beautiful waves with speed of 18-20 n. miles and with height above 2 metres, create a great "dance floor" for surf-kayak.

Sitia Kayak Club is there and the Sitian Kayakers fight with the waves, making crazy wave rolls! We call it "Toumbes".
